Hey guys! It's been a few days since I last updated, and now that we're a couple of weeks into the new format, I'm curious what you all think of it? What does your local meta-game look like? Have you seen any new or interesting deck concepts crop up?
The past few tournaments I've been to have been flooded with all kinds of anti-meta decks, and even a lot of meta decks sporting anti-meta tech. It looks like we might be moving into an anti-meta meta-game! Doomcaliber Knight and Thunder King Rai-Oh have been seeing A LOT of play around here, as well as Dimensional Fissure and decks that can support playing it.
Surprisingly I haven't seen as big of a resurgence in Gladiator Beasts being played as I expected to, but I think that's largely because they have a really poor match against Gravekeepers (what doesn't? LOL), and of course, Gravekeepers are being played in huge numbers.

Hahah, I'm one of the four out of like thirty people who use X-Sabers at my locals, pretty much because of the cost. -Feels special- Hahah, other than that, there are still quite a bit of players who are d*ck-riding Six Sams. There are the E-Hero players, as well as the obvious GK's and even some BW players. Chaos and Plants are running around, too.
